YouTube SponsorSkip

A Chrome and Safari web extension for YouTube videos that skips in-video ads and sponsorships to get straight to the content!

This was build using ChatGPT4, which analyzes the video for the sponshorship segments. The api to get these segments was deployed via Azure App Service.

Enable Chrome Extension in Dev mode

• Clone this repository
• Open chrome://extensions/ in your browser
• Enable developer mode
• Click "Load unpacked" and select the "/extension" file from cloned repository

ToDo:

• Publish extensions to Chrome and App Store
• Add instructions for enabling extension in Safari
