Post-Interpreter-Chrome-Extension

Summary

This project was done for Girls in Tech Vancouver: Hack for Humanity 2018 hackathon event. It is a Chrome extension that produces audio interpretation of an image. The extension uses Microsoft Vision API to interpret the image, and then uses Text to Speech API to produce the audio files.

Setup

1. Clone the repository
2. [Enable developer mode in Google Chrome] (https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/enable-chrome-os-developer-mode-try-new-features)
3. In Google Chrome navigate to chrome://extensions/
4. Drag an drop the files from this repo into the screen
5. Enable the extension
6. Use the extension on any image in Google Chrome
