Teachers Pet is an intuitive application. This app is used as a class management tool. It allows teachers to be able to manage their students. grades, attendance, assignments, and be able to send and/or receive documentation.

We used an agile-waterfall hybrid methodology to be able to complete this application within at 3-week timeframe.

Quick synopsis of Teachers Pet

• Shows specific students assigned to the teacher that is logged in
• Tracks attendances of students ( present, tardy, present-tardy)
• uses facial recognition to allow students to log in (still testing feature)
• Manages and stores assignments in database
• allows uploading of documents via AWS
