A coming of age adventure CYOA UNDERTALE AU that will have space travel, inventory management, sci-fi technology and choices that impact your playthrough as well as future playthroughs, just like the original UNDERTALE.
This project is no longer actively being maintained. The Code is still mine, and the art's copyrights stay with the original artists. I have an outline for this, but seeing as I have not been able to find time to work on this (and frankly, I am unsure what the story even was supposed to be after all this time.. I've gone to school and become an adult in the time that I haven't been writing this!) this game and project are now archived. This means it stays up, but it will be unlisted or privated so only certain people can see it. I will be showing the most recent compiled version to potential employers as an example of what I can do with enough focus and time.. If you'd like a more personal reason for this archival, see the blog, in the pinned blog post.
So sorry to anyone this might disappoint.
Follow the instructions below in installing. Find index.html and run that on any recently updated browser after extracting the zip file, and you should be ready to play! Make sure to keep the files in the same arrangement and the same file names as they came in, otherwise that will mess it up.
You'll need the images, fonts and music to go with the HTML file. They are all bundled in the releases page. Twine games are generally pretty easy on the computer so all you'll really need is a browser of some sort that can display images and text effects, and you'll be good. Just get the most recent version of whatever browser you'll be using and you should be set. It doesn't have to be the greatest latest minted-shiny version, it just has to work, is what I mean by this.

Extract the folder anywhere you please (just please don't rename the img and font files or move the font and image files outside of their folder structure okay? thanks!)

Run index.html in any internet browser

Make sure NOT to use private mode while playing Twine games. SAVES will NOT work on that mode. Also don't erase your cache without first backing up your save externally.
