Release 1.0.5 Update

This version of Sqrl contains few important bug fixes to the proposals submission for Sqrl:

  1. if a proposal's amount did not contain the decimal places during data entry, the value was submitted to the contract as an asset without decimal places. This resulted in a proposal for 15000 TLOS being incorrectly interpreted as 1.5000 TLOS once it was processed

  2. The Proposals tab displayed the proposal amount w/o formatting, incorrectly displaying the real amount requested in the proposal. For example, a proposal for 50,000.0000 TLOS was incorrectly being displayed as 500,000,000 TLOS

  3. the number of cycles displayed was retrieved from the proposals table versus the submissions table, which only stores the current cycle of the proposal. So all proposals showed a cycle of 1 versus what was specified by the user

Version 1.0.4 Release Notes

When voting for arbitration candidates, the voting results UI showed all candidates were selected and prevented users from voting for other candidates. Sqrl 1.0.4 resolves this UI display error. It also includes a fix to filter ballots based on the table_id

Version 1.0.3 Release Notes

Sqrl 1.0.3 adds a fix to the Worker Proposals tab that displays the voting statistics for each worker proposal to all users. Previously, this information was only visible to proposers.

Version 1.0.2 Release Notes

There has been several updates to the Telos Arbitration smart contract in preparation for the upcoming elections. Sqrl 1.0.2 is a patch release that supports the changes made to the Arbitration contract for registering potential candidates. Only arbitration candidates need to download and install this update.

Version 1.0.1 Release Notes

There was an error that prevented Firefox users to run dapps integrated with Sqrl (the same error was present in other browsers, but was ignored). Version 1.0.1 adds a fix for this. It also includes an update for the new ChainRift exchange account.

Version 1.0.0 Release Notes

Welcome to version 1.0.0 of Sqrl, the most advanced EOS.IO wallet and governance portal available and the official wallet of the Telos Blockchain Network! In this release, we're expanding options for EOS.IO users with our new Login with Sqrl module as well as increasing the reliability of previous Sqrl versions via several bug fixes.

Login with Sqrl

For any developer writing EOS.IO-based applications, the only option available today for providing transaction signing capabilities is Scatter. Similarly for end users, it is the only option they have available if they'd like to take advantage of some of the cool applications being built on EOS.IO, such as EOSBet. With Sqrl 1.0.0, the EOS.IO ecosystem now has an additional option for signing transactions with Login with Sqrl. It's a win-win for the ecosystem as a whole, as non-Scatter users now have another option at their disposal and developers can reach this same set of users that they potentially never reached previously.

There are several integration projects in the works that includes Login with Sqrl - it leverages existing development work by supporting ScatterJS API calls, further simplifying the effort involved to support it. If you are a Sqrl user, you can download Sqrl 1.0.0 today and visit the Telos Monitor's Sqrl Login Page to give it a shot.

Updates and Bug Fixes

We always keep our ears to the streets of EOS.IO and take user feedback seriously. While we can't incorporate all of the requests, we try to do what we can. Sqrl 1.0.0 contains several minor updates and bug fixes to help make Sqrl just that much more reliable. These include:

  • Connection page version number corrections
  • Smart contract symbol, precision fix
  • Errors when managing wallets
  • Shasum binary mismatch
  • Updates migrating wallets across versions
  • Realtime updates to supply/staked votes
  • More minor updates

@marlonwilliams marlonwilliams released this Dec 24, 2018 · 29 commits to master since this release

Welcome to the 0.5.5 release of Sqrl. There are some exciting updates in store!

  • Free User Account Creation: Sqrl provides a simple wizard that allows new users to create their first (or second) Telos account on their own - for FREE! We are proud to be the first wallet with this feature on the first chain that makes it HASSLE and COST-free for users to join the network. This is a huge day in the EOS.IO blockchain world!

  • SqrlJS (ScatterJS Core Support): Version 0.5.5 of Sqrl now allows users to sign transactions in web-based dApps using ScatterJS-like functionality. Users of Sqrl no longer needs Scatter Desktop in order to authenticate and interact with their accounts for EOS.IO-based applications. This is a beta release and should be treated as such.

Additional Bug Fixes: In addition to the new features above, Sqrl 0.5.5 includes several bug fixes.

  1. Dynamically display governance features based on selected blockchain network
  2. Fixed proxy listings message/errors; shows Tools->Regproxy based on current chain
  3. Simplified vote weights display; friendlier vote weight descriptions; correct global stake % for Telos chain
  4. TFVT UI bug fixes (e.g. only allowing nominations TFVT token holders and if election hasn't started, etc)
  5. Exchanges dropdown for Sending tokens show dynamically based on chain
  6. TBNOA EULA rendered from IPFS
  7. More minor fixes reported by community
