Staff can create a new File Type in Workflow Management, and successfully add a field in a submission form that uses that file type. When the student uploads a file to the field, they can select a file and select “Upload.” However, after selecting “Upload,” the file appears to vanish. Selecting the uploader a second time gives a “Not an accepted file type!” error. The file appears on the Confirm and Submit page (in reviewing the form), and the upload is logged in the Action Log. But the file doesn’t appear in the All Files list. This means that custom File Types are not (fully) functional.
Desired Behavior:
When selecting “Upload,” ensure the file appears uploaded to the user (like the manuscript field). Fix “Not an accepted file type!” error to not appear. Have the file appear in the All Files to be available list for download.
