Usage Instructions

Before getting into the usage instructions for your respective web browser, first clone this repository or download it as a ZIP file and extract it.

Mozilla Firefox:

• Visit about:debugging in your browser,
• Click on This Firefox (i.e. about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox),
• Click on Load Temporary Add-on, and then navigate to the folder where you have stored bytads,
• Now, select the manifest.json file.

Google Chrome or other Chromium-based browsers:

• Visit chrome://extensions/ in your browser, and make sure that the Developer mode is enabled,
• Click on Load unpacked, and then navigate to the folder where you have stored bytads,
• Now, select this folder.

Now, the extension is installed, and you are ready to start browsing YouTube.
