LitSync : Lit For Literature!

LitSync is a Book Recommendation Engine developed by Team SKEPSIS, the Technical Committee of Sister Nivedita Univeristy as part of the Kolkata International Bookfair 2024. This is a tool developed by book lovers for book lovers where in users can generate a recommendation list of books customized to their likes and interests.

As showcased at the Sister Nivedita University stall of the Bookfair, the engine generates two types of suggestions for the users - Localized and Generalized:

• The Localized Recommendation is generated based on the data of the books that were available at the bookfair, the contribution for which was done by the various publishing companies present at the fair.
• The Generalized Recommendation is generated based on the plethora of books available either as paperback on the market or as e-book.

Note : The project is currently at a preliminary stage. Further improvements are on the way!
