The WAT web page says:

The toolbar has been tested on Windows Vista/7/8 and it should work with Internet Explorer 9/10/11.

I have found the following issues with just one of the WAT menues. This is tested on two separate computers, both running IE11 on Windows 7.

  • When choosing Show Lang Attributes, Lang Attributes are shown. But a message box saying No lang attributes found about:blank twice is also shown.

2

  • When choosing View Partial Source, a message box with an error is shown.

3
4

  • When choosing Show Titles, Titles are shown. But a message box with an error message also shown. When clicking OK, another message box is shown, saying No title attributes found.

Thank you for taking the time to make this detailed bug report. Could I ask: which version of WAT are you using -- did you download it from our web site, or did you build it from the code in this repository? Could you also confirm if you're running 32- or 64-bit IE (if you've got the WAT from our site, I expect it will be 32-bit)?

We're aware that the version of WAT on the site is now somewhat outdated -- we have been doing a lot of work on the code in this repository, and are currently working on making much more regular releases, based on this code in GitHub.

Hello, and thank you for a quick answer. I did download the WAT from your site, and did only test it on 64-bit IE (there were no hinting that those versions may not work on 64-bit). I guess that might be the reasons for the malfunctioning I reported.
I look forward to more regular releases of WAT!

Just a quick note for the benefit of @olabaloo: we believe we've addressed these issues in the latest code, though we have not made an official release based on this code yet (though we plan to very soon). We are currently testing making releases via GitHub and it is going well, so we are thinking of moving to using GitHub Releases for the next official release.
