Version of the custom_component2.0.3 Configurationsensor:
- platform: optimal_humidity
sensors:
test_optimal_humidity:
name: "Optimale Luftfeuchtigkeit"
type: optimal_humidity
indoor_temp_sensor: sensor.lumi_lumi_weather_4ee65b04_temperature
indoor_humidity_sensor: sensor.lumi_lumi_weather_4ee65b04_humidity
critical_temp_sensor: sensor.lumi_lumi_weather_4ee65b04_temperature
indoor_pressure_sensor: sensor.lumi_lumi_weather_4ee65b04_pressure
Describe the bugAfter placing the sensor into the configuration.yaml file and restarting, it still does not show any data. Debug logI did not get Logs to work :( |

I have a feeling this will be related to the formatting of the values internal to the new localization features in HA. (I.e. 10.5 vs 10,5) Can you test with English based decimal formatting and see if you get values? |

Also, it looks like you have used the same sensor for the critical temperature sensor input, which will not work. It must be a unique sensor at the critical point within your room. |

Setting another critical sensor did the trick. So I have to use at least two temperature-devices? I only own one because i have a very small apartement. (For testing purposes, I set the critical_temp_sensor to a temp sensor of my door-sensor which is not very accurate) |

Did not have to change anything here :) |

@NGLocanovic yes. The 'optimal' humidity is a combination of what some would consider comfortable humidity, as well as critical humidity (the point at which the water in the air condenses) in order to avoid condensation and mold at cold points in a room (i.e. floor, windows). |
