Summary

We should improve the documentation for using existing TLS certificates with The Things Stack

Why do we need this ?

Not all users will use the default configuration where The Things Stack requests automatic certificates from Let's Encrypt.

What is already there? What do you see now?

https://github.com/TheThingsNetwork/lorawan-stack/blob/master/doc/content/guides/getting-started/certificates.md shows the permissions to set on certificates.

What is missing? What do you want to see?

In https://github.com/TheThingsNetwork/lorawan-stack/blob/master/doc/content/guides/getting-started/configuration.md we need to show how to add the cert/key to the container (see docker-compose.yml). We also need to show the environment variables needed to configure those certificates.

Can you do this yourself and submit a Pull Request?

Sure
