Note: Previous versions had an issue with text encoding on Unix. A UTF-16-capable terminal will handle those, but from now on only a UTF-8-capable terminal will be required (which Unix terminals generally support).

If you have the .NET Core 2 runtime installed on your computer, download the portable version, as it is very small. If you don't, you'll need to download your OS-specific version, which will be around 25 MB.

The platform-specific executables contain the .NET runtime. The portable dll does not, so you need the .NET Core 2.0 runtime installed in order to use the portable version.
