Selecting templates should have a proper UI.

This could be as simple as repositioning the template select box prior to 1.1 launch, but further down the line we may want to consider something a bit fancier that supports screenshots, author metadata, etc.

Do you have any repositioning suggestions for v1.1?

I’m inclined to push the mini-preview of the template and other fancier features back to v1.2. I think at this point that we’re in danger of v1.1 becoming a Cathedral, and starting the pre-release testing processes should now be our priority.

I'm inclined to put it above the credits box. What do you think?

The template selector for the slide group now:

New placement of template selector

This, to my mind, seems like an acceptable solution for v1.1, with more prettiness and functionality slated in for our next feature release.

The remainder of this issue — making it pretty and more functional and such — is being pushed to v1.2.

I think this is a great option for now, and we can look at improving it in 1.2.

I'm going to reset this milestone to 2.0. I'd still like to improve this, with some kind of graphical image-based selector.
