dev0 is an alternative computer built with Python and Raspberry Pi. It runs custom-built apps like an anonymous web browsing, a paint application, and an AI companion.
dev0 can be installed onto the Raspberry Pi as a stand-alone computer or onto your Mac/Windows machine as a emulator.
- Install Raspian onto the Micro SD card of your Raspberry Pi using balenaEtcher.
- Raspberry Pi 3B
- Raspian Buster 2.13.2020
- Start the Raspberry Pi and make sure the operating system is working. Complete the prompted Raspberry Pi setup for location, WiFi, language, reboot, etc.
- Unzip and copy
dev0-masterfolder onto the Desktop of the Raspberry Pi with a USB drive or download the .zip from the GitHub. - Navigate to directory
cd Desktop/dev0-master/dev0/- Open the Terminal and execute the
install_dev0script
sudo ./install_dev0- Restart the Raspberry Pi.
