Svelte with svelte-routing

I am trying to create a svelte application with basic routing using svelte-routing. I can't seem to get it working. I keep getting 404 errors when clicking between pages.

Here is a basic concept of what I'm trying to accomplish.

  import { Router, Link, Route } from 'svelte-routing';

  import Home from './routes/Home.svelte';
  import Page1 from './routes/Page1.svelte';
</script>

<Router>
  <nav>
    <Link to="/">Home</Link>
    <Link to="/page1">Page1</Link>
  </nav>
  <div>
    <Route path="/" component={Home} />
    <Route path="/page1" component={Page1} />
  </div>
</Router>

Does anyone have any ideas how to accomplish this?

I was able to come by a different solution using hash based routing. svelte-spa-router is a good library to achieve this.
