Firefox-CSS

This is my custom CSS to recreate the chromium experience.

*Note: this has only been tested on Windows 11 and on a 1920x1080 screen resolution.

Instructions:

Part 1: Installing the custom CSS

  1. Open a new firefox tab and go to about:config -> accept the risks.
  2. Search for toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets and toggle it to true (by double clicking on it).
  3. Open a new firefox tab and go to about:support -> Click Open Folder button for Profile Folder
  4. Inside your profile folder, create a new folder named chrome (All lowercase)
  5. Inside the chrome folder, place the userChrome.css file. You can download the latest version of this file from the Releases Page.

Part 2: Installing the color theme

  1. Grab the theme from Firefox Add-on
  2. Restart Firefox

Todo's

  • inspect outer border on toolbar when in windowed mode
  • change the border color for the search bar when there is text selected but it is not focused from blue to something else
