I checked some of them, expecially the ones with the high chance to drop. Nothing tells they should drop herbs or ore. But the chance is higher comparing to other creatures.
They still drop the same herbs and ore they're near to, so I think it's still due to the bugged wowhead addon.

I don't see why a bird https://www.wowhead.com/npc=14268/lord-condar will drop cooper, just remove this loots

I guess they may be accidentally pulled more often than normal creatures during farming herbs or ore and as the result the chance is higher. Updated
