Aedan Discord-Bot

Discord assistant with the following features:

• Welcome new members
• Display the number of server members
• Set roles for members using reactions
• Batch message deletion by admin
• Convert http Steam links to steam:// links that you can directly open them in Steam client
• Send a notification for every game that becomes free on Epic Games
• Send notification for free Don't starve together points
• A line of poetry by Hafez
• Hekmat from Nahj Al-balagha
• Youtube video notification
• Embed messages with custom colors

Get Started

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/imposter361/Aedan-Gholam.git
   

2. Copy example.env file to .env

   cd Aedan-Gholam
   cp example.env .env
   

3. Populate .env file with your secret information. (Bot token and etc.)
4. Preferably create a new virtual environment and activate it

   python3 -m venv .venv
   source .venv/bin/activate
   

5. Install required packages

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

6. Run main.py script

   python3 main.py
