When I playback a locally downloaded video, using Plex, it will remember the last playback position.

So if I later resume playback of that same video, Plex will ask me if I want to resume that video and allow me to playback from this last remembered playback position.

Can this be implemented for the KissNetwork plugin as well? So, if I'm watching multi-episode drama, it would be nice if it could remember the furthest episode I've ever played back and the specific playback position within this furthest episode and allow me to resume without me having to remember where I last left off.

Maybe you could a 'Resume Playback' option as it's own menu option?

The resume feature is specific to your Plex Client, and as-such I cannot code for it within a channel. However I could add a * or something to the episode title if any user has accessed the video page, but then you wouldn't know who watched what last as it wouldn't be user specific.

Ultimately, I'd rather not as I would need to keep track of all users independently (since you can share channel access). It would require large refactoring of the channel, and unfortunately I do not have the time to dedicate to this feature.

However, there may be some compromise, as I could see adding a history directory as easy enough. Could show the last 10 (or so) Shows/Movies that have been accessed per section (i.e. cartoons, anime, etc...). Wouldn't be a resume, but could give you quicker access to items you frequent more often.

adding the history directory (last 10 items accessed per section) would be a nice improvement.

I concur. A history would be super helpful to find your place again. If a user could set their history item length from within settings that would be even better.

Default = 10.
