e.g. 90% gets/10% sets, for a realistic test of tcp connections

Netflix/rend has a benchmarking implementation that may help.

  • What's the average cpu usage for the process? How does this compare to twemproxy (likely worse)
  • What are the percentiles for query durations? (rend has code to generate this)
  • Does disabling/enabling batching help?
  • Look into -cpuprofile hotspots
