Project Overview

The AfroCom AI Initiative leverages collective and artificial intelligence to enhance user experiences and promote community development. Our key objectives include:

• Enhancing User Well-Being: Providing tools for sentiment analysis, mental health support, and safe community interactions.
• Fostering Collaborative Problem-Solving: Connecting users with similar interests, promoting collaborative projects, and highlighting community issues.
• Supporting Community Development: Offering personalized content curation, mapping community assets, and providing analytics for program impact.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Git
• Python
• TensorFlow or PyTorch

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/ubujima/Aki.git
   cd Aki
   

2. Create a virtual environment and activate it:

   python3 -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate
   

3. Install the required dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

Running the Project

1. Prepare your data and configure settings as required.
2. Train models or run the application:

   python run.py

Contribution Workflow
