A small script that generates json suitable for Solr from the Community Site/Static content Jekyll site.
This tool is piped Jekyll output pages directly and
writes those pages to solr.json
and batch.json
in the built site’s
_site/api/v1
directory.
This tool is run by a build hook in Jekyll and expects to be run from the root directory of a Jekyll site.
This project produces 3 executable binaries, post-process-linux
,
post-process-darwin
, and post-process.exe
. These can be built by calling
make
. The default make
target will create the binaries.
To "deploy" new versions of these binaries, the 3 generated binaries are to be
copied into the
StaticContent _scripts
directory
then committed to Git.
There are no automated tests on this repo. To test the generated binaries,
follow the Deploy steps apart from committing the new binaries, then run the
Jekyll build locally. The generated solr.json
and batch.json
files will
have to be manually checked for correctness.
