Hello @SupraLP, given that Proton is intentionally forwarding SteamVR calls to the linux SteamVR version, it's unlikely running the Windows variant of SteamVR with Proton will see much support.

But for completeness sake, please copy your system information from Steam (Steam -> Help -> System Information) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report. Also, please add PROTON_LOG=1 %command% to the game's launch options, reproduce the quirks, and drag and drop the generated $HOME/steam-$APPID.log into the comment box.

Symptoms

SteamVR does not launch on Fedora 34. See specs above. Competely out of the box fresh install.

Reproduction

1. Install Fedora 34
2. Install Steam
3. Install SteamVR for Windows (Compatibility -> Force Steam Play (Proton))
4. Run SteamVR
