This has been ongoing issue for me even before redesign.

Your system information

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I have a dual monitor setup. Monitor on the left it 1080p and the one on the right is 1440p which is primary. (This is very important to understand: my bigger primary monitor is on the right from my smaller secondary monitor.)
Whenever I start the game I start it in 1440p resolution but it starts on my left (secondary screen which is 1080p). Then I move my game to my other monitor with shift+super+ keyboard shortcut key combination. This results in a bug. Game is displayed in 1440p resolution, UI is displayed also in 1440p but just visually. All the click events (can't think of better term for that) are scaled down to 1080p and are anchored to the left upper corner. (Steam overlay works without problems.)

When you minimise the game and maximise it again - game is displayed in 1080p, anchored to the left lower corner and there is black border that fills the screen to 1040p. To fix that I just move game to the left screen and back to the right. It fixes the games resolution but hotspots for whole UI are still in 1080p.

If I switch my primary monitor which is bigger to the left of the secondary (via display settings) all works as expected. Game starts on the primary screen and minimises maximises correctly, UI works as should.

Screenshots:

NB: Exactly the same issues happen when playing on the server with scoreboard, esc menu etc.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Get 2 monitor set up with different screen sizes.
  2. Set up the smaller monitor on the left from the bigger one.
  3. Launch the game.
  4. Make sure that the game is set to bigger's screen resolution (fullscreen or fulscreen windowed).
  5. Minimise/maximise the game/move the game between monitors.
  6. Try clicking with mouse on the UI.

I have exactly the same problem, with a setup of two monitors: On the left a 1920x1080 monitor, and on the right, the primary display, a 2056x1080.

Does CS:GO have a setting which let's you change which monitor it should treat as the main one?
