Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When running CS:GO in 3440x1440 resolution I'll get flickering shadows (dz_junglety shows it off the easiest). I've messed with every single setting in windowed or fullscreen to no solution.
Here is a quick video showing the shadow flicker; Warning seizure-ish flickering occurs: https://youtu.be/gfP4j6I5c4g
Also in the upper right of the screen I get "Warning: overflowed CCLientRenderablesList group 0"

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Change resolution to 3440x1440
  2. Danger zone maps suffer the most from this.

I confirm that these days I connected the 21: 9 monitor and also watched it.

I'm having this issue on inferno with flowers, buildings, and player model shadows as well. Same resolution, however, i'm on Windows10

Yes even i am facing the same issue and this happens in all maps of csgo. My monitor is a lg ultra wide with 2560x1080 resolution and am facing this issue since this recent csgo update that happened 2 weeks ago after the source code leak rumor.

Same issue at 3440x1440 21:9. If I change my resolution to 2560x1440 (16:9), the issue is not present. The game also feels extremely laggy due to what feels like horrible frame times, only at 21:9 resolutions. I also tried the game at 2560x1080, but the problem persists there as well.

I dont get this issue when i play on community servers. But when ever i try to connect to steam offfical servers i need to verify my game files and then connect to it else i get kicked. I think this has something to do with recent csgo update.

Same here @ 3440x1440 - it goes away if I change to 2560x1440

I think this might be fixed. I'll wait a bit before any final conclusion, but I updated both CSGO and my nvidia drivers today and it looks like it's gone?
3440x1440, frame times are great, inferno doesn't flicker anymore and I have 0 "Overflowed CClientRenderablesList group 0" in my console.

I can confirm that this bug seems to be fixed even without updating nvidia drivers (I have Version 457.51).

I still have this same problem since getting an ultrawide monitor. Now using nvidia 530.41.03 driver but it's been happening for about 6 months. Playing in 1920x1080 I don't notice any flickering. It is a lot worse in the warmup areas of maps that have those (especially inferno), but also noticeable during matches too like on walls and boxes in cache.

@kisak-valve I'm having the same issue, but on csgo in windows - when I open the non-linux CSGO repository, I don't see anywhere to log an issue at. Could you tell me where I should go to report this properly?

@Laxxzz I have opened a new issue at #3168 if you can add any more info there.
