Textures flickering at 3440x1440 ultrawide 21:9 #3168

This seems to be fixed for me in cs2. There is no cache or inferno warmup area to compare with, but I also haven't seen it happening on any of the maps which are available. |
The issue is not present in CS2 for me either. |
Well thats both the Linux people. I also played the beta in Windows and didn't have the issue there either, so will close this now. |
Your system information
Currently Nvidia RTX 3060 with nvidia driver 530.41.03, but this has been happening with older versions of the nvidia driver and csgo since starting using a 3440x1440 monitor about 6 months ago.
This problem may also be present in Windows, but I have not tested that myself.
Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
Since playing in 3440x1440 I get flickering textures on a few maps, most noticeable in the warmup areas of maps which have them. In 1920x1080 everything looks fine.
Changing the angle of the camera seems to be what causes the flickering, and it is more likely to happen on surfaces which are further away.
In the inferno warmup area it is easy to see on the big texture on the wall, and also on the labels on the wooden box
