csgo mic not working

i just got a new monitor i dont know if that has anything to do with anything but, this week my mic has not been working in game when i push my push-to-talk button my name comes up but no one can hear me, my mic works fine everywhere else. i mainly que with 3 friends and we use skype and my mic works fine but just not in cs
