✔️ Added option to automatically synchronize PKI role settings with Venafi policy to maximize the likelihood certificate requests will succeed.
❌ Discontinued the apikey, tpp_url, tpp_username, tpp_password, zone, trust_bundle_file, venafi_import, venafi_import_timeout, venafi_import_workers, and venafi_check_policy role settings.

  • Venafi connection and authentication settings for import are now obtained from a venafi-policy.
  • The replacement for venafi_import=true is to assign the name of the role to the import_roles of the venafi-policy.
  • The replacements for venafi_import_timeout and venafi_import_workers are import_timeout and import_workers, respectively, for the venafi-policy.
  • The replacement for venafi_check_policy is to assign the name of the role to the enforcement_roles of the venafi-policy.
