✔️ Introduced Venafi secret to enable support for Trust Protection Platform token auth (API App ID "hashicorp-vault-monitor-by-venafi")
❌ Deprecated legacy username/password for Trust Protection Platform
❌ Discontinued the apikey, tpp_user, tpp_password, tpp_url, cloud_url, and trust_bundle_file, venafi-policy settings.

  • Venafi connection and authentication settings are now obtained from an instance of pki/venafi/:name specified by venafi_secret.
  • The replacement for apikey is pki/venafi/:name apikey
  • The replacement for tpp_user (deprecated) is pki/venafi/:name tpp_user
  • The replacement for tpp_password (deprecated) is pki/venafi/:name tpp_password
  • The replacement for tpp_url and cloud_url is pki/venafi/:name url
  • The replacement for trust_bundle_file is pki/venafi/:name trust_bundle_file

🐛 Fix for issue where Performance Standby or Performance Secondary would attempt to issue/sign certificates
