Welcomers' Guild Leaderboard FAQ
The Welcomers' Guild Leaderboard is a ranking and progression system for anyone participating in the Welcomers' Guild. It makes recruiting and welcoming accessible to everyone, while creating a clear path for members to access new tools as they develop their recruitment and welcoming skills and learn the process.
Rankings for the Welcomers' Guild Leaderboard will be publicly available for transparency and to display good examples to newer recruiters.
You can apply to join the Welcomers' Guild on the leaderboard website, which will then be approved by an officer. You'll start with 2,500 Welcomers' Guild points (WGP) and one lootbox to open for free, which can give you cosmetic rewards, WGP, stamps and exceedingly rare special items.
For accomplishing certain recruitment and welcoming goals, you'll receive WGP:

Your total WGP can go up to 10,000.
You also gain bonus WGP based on a formula (x * (((x / 1000) / sqrt(( x / 1000) + (x / 1000) ^ 2)))), where x is your base WGP gain. Bonuses do not apply to negative or zero WGP gain.
At 05:01 UTC every day, Welcomers' Guild members will earn WGP according to their Daily Rate. The Daily Rate starts at 5 WGP/day for all members at the start of each month and is capped at 5 WGP/day.
For each day that you do not send a manual recruitment telegram or a welcome telegram, your Daily Rate will decrease by 1 WGP/day, to a minimum of 0 WGP/day.
If you send at least 1 manual recruitment telegram or welcome telegram in a day, your Daily Rate will increase according to the days you have missed:
0 to 2 days missed: increases Daily Rate back to 5 WGP/day
3 days missed: increases Daily Rate by 2 WGP/day
4 or more days missed: increases Daily Rate by 1 WGP/day
Yes, in order to better measure performance and accurately track progression, there are some ways to lose WGP:

These apply to any nations you are recruiting/welcoming. The minimum WGP you can have is 1.
WGP is used to sort nations on the Welcomers' Guild Leaderboard and being high up is quite an honor on its own!
Additionally, you will receive perks according to your rank at the end of the month. Duplicate perks are not awarded. For example, if you were to get to Rank 3 and then were given the perk of 1,000 Telegram Stamps, you would not be able to get that award again. Also, perks of the same type do not stack. For example, if you have Rank 7 or higher, you would not get the 1,000 monthly stamps from the Rank 6 perk and would just get 2,500 Stamps per month.

In addition to reaching ranks, your monthly progression is rewarded with lootboxes. For every 250 WGP you earn each month, you will receive a lootbox which costs 100 WGP to open. Lootboxes will randomly award you a cosmetic reward, more WGP, telegram stamps and have a small chance to get you exceedingly rare special rewards.
Although earning WGP past 10,000 will not contribute to your shown WGP, earnings past 10,000 will still count towards earning lootbox rewards, but cannot be used to pay to open a lootbox.
