Having stories only show when a story was updated overrides when the story is published. For record-keeping purposes (and so people know when things happened) the original publish date HAS to be on the post page.

  • just show published date in byline
  • append to the top of the story a note when a story has been updated (something simple like "Updated: M D, Y at HH:MM" should be fine)
