Using the WordPress plugin WPCustom Category Image? This class adds the image to a tax's listing; The ezWay.

WPCustom Category Image stores the WP Attachement ID (and not the image URL, as some plugins seem to do). Unfortunately, it doesn't display in image in on the taxonomy list page. Now you can :)
