This device isn't Play Protect certified. #227
Comments
Same issue here if anyone can shed some light. |
I have a similar experience now. |
AFAIK Google Play Services will run only on certified devices, which is literally a list of brand and models. Since GApps installed in WSA, it does not report a valid brand and model and it will cause this issue. There are multiple workarounds for this, but it's another workaround on top of all the other workarounds. |
same |
I have registered the Google Service Framework-Android-ID with the link below. Now the Google Play Store Login is working! |
How do you get the Google Service Framework-Android-ID? |
I installed an App called Device ID (Link below) via ADB sideload. This App shows GSF ID. |
Take a look at this: #213 |
this didnt work for me but #213 did |
After registration of the GSF ID i had to restart WSA and the Login was working immediately. |
I registered my GSF ID ,restarted WSA and PC but still doesnt work also did steps from #213 but still doesnt work |
not logging into play store, error message (This device is not Play Protect certified) |
This worked for me |
Did this too, but can't get it to work. Google play still says device ain't certified |
after attempting to install WSA and google apps, this is what im facing when attempting to open Google Play Store.
