Designs not in Factory

I make new designs using the editor, and I can make them until I close down the game. When I load up my save game, the designs are still there, but they don't appear in the manufacturing menu, despite my factory being able to produce them. I have to remake the design in order to be able to manufacture it.

Not technically because 3893 was in a different build. But I am experiencing the same issue.
