To aid with event marketing, here are some blurbs and tweets you can use:

Before the event

If you build websites, you inevitably run into problems. Maybe there’s no way to achieve an aspect of your design using CSS. Or maybe there’s a device feature you really wish you could tap into using JavaScript. Or perhaps the in-browser DevTools don’t give you a key insight you need to do your job. We want to know your pain. Submit your wants for the web and you could get to present it to an expert panel of judges and the EVENT_NAME audience live on stage. Best of all, the top problems will win awesome prizes!

At the event

If you build websites, you inevitably run into problems. Maybe there’s no way to achieve an aspect of your design using CSS. Or maybe there’s a device feature you really wish you could tap into using JavaScript. Or perhaps the in-browser DevTools don’t give you a key insight you need to do your job. Your fellow attendees have shared their problems and will present them to an expert panel of judges (and you). Help us pick the most pressing problems browser makers should go solve.

Sample tweets

Have you ever written a ton of code to do something seemingly simple on the web and then wondered why it’s not a native feature of the web platform? You should share it with @webwewantfyi and join us at EVENT_HASHTAG to pitch it to our panel of judges. https://webwewant.fyi/#submit

If you could wave a magic wand and address a limitation of the web platform or DevTools, what would it be? Share your idea with @webwewantfyi and you could get the chance to pitch your problem to our panel of judges and the audience at EVENT_HASHTAG. https://webwewant.fyi/#submit

Have you ever come up against a limitation of the web platform or DevTools that you think browser makers should go solve? Submit them to @webwewantfyi for a chance to share them on stage at EVENT_HASHTAG (and maybe even win some prizes). https://webwewant.fyi/#submit
