It would be great to allow spell and grammar checking by using LanguageTool https://www.languagetool.org/.

It would be useful for both editing translation and checking source strings.

Yes, it would be indeed very helpful to integrate this tool to get a good overview over the possible errors additional to the existing rules. Did you think of a complete integration which would allow us the checking of bilingual texts or just the support for an external API that could support additional tests?

Perhaps we should do both and for the beginning list the tool as a browser add-on in #3084.
