Expected it to hide whenever there's no scrolling being done. But apparently it's always there whenever your mouse is on the page itself. If you go to the system taskbar or above to the address or tab bar, it goes away, instantly. No animations.

Would like it to be hidden whenever there's no scrolling being done, maybe after a user set delay, and with animation of it sliding out or fading out or something.

The scrollbar customization is done in a way that has minimal impact on the performance of the browser. The ability to detect when the page or element is being scrolled would require more advanced customization and have a larger impact on browser performance.

If the method the add-on uses to customize scrollbars changes in the future to make this feature more practical, I would love to add it. But it's not possible at this moment.
