About Permissions

Some users have asked about why some of my add-ons have certain permissions. Some of the permissions listed on the Firefox Add-ons website look very scary, like the Access your data for all websites permission used by many add-ons. In the interest of full transparency, the permissions used by this extension are detailed below:

Access your data for sites in the youtube.com domain

This permission gives the add-on permission to interact and manipulate the pages on the YouTube website. This allows the add-on to override YouTube's default behaviour for the media keys on your keyboard and it allows the add-on to be able to click the skip ad button for you.

The add-on does not make any changes to the content displayed on the YouTube website. This add-on is not able to capture your login credentials.
