High-speed test map v0.1.0

A high speed map designed for speeds up to 400km/h.
Features:

  1. Outer loop (double track, 56km length), for speeds up to 285km/h.
  2. Circle loop (single track, 48km length), for speeds up to 400km/h.
  3. 8-loop (double track, 68km length), for speeds up to 285km/h.
    • The 3 loops have connections between them.
  4. Long (double track, 8km length) straight with a 45 degree (100% grade) at each end.
  5. Long (single track, 8km length) straight with an upwards spiral (15km length, 1.5% grade).
  6. Stations and service points for easy teleportation.
    • No jobs in this map.

Please note the posted speeds are estimates, as there are no locomotives in Derail Valley able to reach anywhere near these values at the moment.
For those interested, using the Rearranged 282 mod, I was able to reach a speed of 180km/h. If anyone reaches a higher speed do tell.
Also available with this release is the unity package containing all the map files, which you can open in unity after setting up a project for Mapify.

This needs to be extracted MANUALLY to the mods folder, UMM will refuse the zip.

  • Added ability to create tracks from selected BezierPoints.
  • Added half yards (yards with an exit only at one end).
  • Added reversing track IDs to yard creation, to easily create mirrored yards.
  • Added some checks to prevent creating switches attached to switches, as those are not supported by the game.
  • Added performance mode toggle, reducing redraws when turned on.
  • Added quick swap button to SwitchPoints (similar to the Left/Right button).
  • Fixed continuing to draw after the window was closed.
  • Optimised number of times the scene is redrawn.

A barebones map with:

  1. High-speed double-tracked loop (around 160km/h)
  2. 3 stations
  3. Jobs with a larger wagon count than vanilla (over 20)
  4. Humpyard (as much as allowed by the game's logic)
    • I/O/L tracks on one side, S on the other.
    • Shunting jobs here can have up to 10 pick-ups/drop-offs
  5. Grade testing ramps (0.5%..5.5%, at 0.5% intervals)
    • 5% and 5.5% ramps are bugged at the bottom, but the rest works.
    • Each track has a 100m transition zone, 1km of grade, 100m transition and finally 200m of flat track.
  6. 45° launch ramp

Known bugs:

  1. 2 grade ramps do not work
  2. Booklets spawn under the stations, and so the buildings are floating in order to allow access to them
  3. Station names only show up as [ MISSING TRANSLATION ]

EDIT: Added unitypackage file for the map. To import it, a project needs to be setup beforehand (import Mapify and Terrain Tools Package).
