This is a great place to start if you're looking to dip your toe into contributing via GitHub.

If you see a typo or a broken link anywhere in our documentation you can fix by making a pull request.

This is one of our "good first bugs" and therefore you don't have to have any experience with GitHub to complete it. Just comment below with the mistake that you've found, and @KirstieJane will be sure to help you all the way along to merging in your the new - correct - version of the text.

You can contact Kirstie via twitter, email (kw401 AT cam DOT ac DOT uk) or by typing @KirstieJane in your comment below.

Go for it! And thank you!

Hi Kirstie, I'm a beginner to open source and am trying to look for easy issues to fix. I saw in the contributing.md that there are some tag images that don't seem to be rendering properly. Can I help fix them?

Great! Any pointers/resources for where I could get the images for no-code and good-first-bug?

Hi @jlee124 - I've made a new issue with a few more details about the contributing file: #9. Any help on fixing them would be fantastic!!

Hi @KirstieJane, I want to contribute to the scona project! While reading CONTRIBUTING.md guide, I have noticed that there are some broken links.

  • the link to discussing projects in issues;
  • the link to pull request;
    The corresponding URLs have changed, that's why links are invalid now. I have found correct URLs and I suppose that they will be 100% fit.

Development Guide:

Is it fine to get started with such a minor pull request? 😃

Thes are all great finds @wingedRuslan - please do go ahead and update!

I'm going to be asleep quite soon, and then I'm at a conference all day Thurs & Fri. But I'll get back to any PR over the weekend 🚀 ✨

Hi @KirstieJane, this is my first try in the open-source contribution that's why I'm keeping it simple.
I have found some grammatical changes which will fit best in my opinion:

In CONTRIBUTING.md

In CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md

I have tried to find some typo issues. Can I update these typos?
