For clarity, throughout the wiki the files themselves are referred to as BRAM files specifically, as they represent the entire backup RAM. These BRAM files contain multiple save files. A save file is not a BRAM file, even if most of these files are likely to only contain one save file.

This is unrelated to the program but Tengai Makyou II: Manjimaru is the best game on the PC Engine and you should learn Japanese to play it. If you are interested in coding a romhack for it, I will be very happy to translate it in full. I am serious.
