Code Camp Events Module Speakers

Speakers are one of the primary benefits of attending any conference. This module makes it super-simple to recruit and accept speaker registrations.

First, in order to allow speakers to submit their sessions, you'll first need to enable event registration. A registration is required for all attendees, including the presenters of the event.

Next, any registered speaker will see a new message on the speakers page, prompting them to add their own sessions for consideration.

Upon clicking the Submit Sessions button, you'll see a popup window where you can enter all of your speaker profile and session information. This way, we don't have to ask you for it over and over. Everything with an asterisk next to it is required, but the form will remind you if you mess up anyway.

Some of this information could of course be pulled from the speaker's user profile, but not doing so gives them the opportunity to exercise some personal branding specifically for the event.

You have the ability to add one or many sessions - up to, well... as many as you'd like to submit. Just keep clicking the Add Session button each time you want to add another one.

If you add too many sessions, you can delete them as easily as you added them.

Once you save your speaker/session submission, you'll see it in the list of potential speakers.

Don't worry, if you want to update your profiles or sessions abstracts later, you can. Just come back here and make any updates you want.
