Hello,

This is an update of Corsican (co) localization to take commit 353ea9c into account.

As I'm new in WinMerge's translation team, I have a couple of questions:
1- Is there a distribution list to be notified when there are new strings to translate?
2- Do you advise to translate the new strings 'on the fly' as soon as they arrive?
3- Or is there a way to know when a new release is planned in order to translate the new strings before the release is built?

Best regards,
Patriccollu.

Thank you!

1- Is there a distribution list to be notified when there are new strings to translate?

Unfortunately, there is no such distribution list.

2- Do you advise to translate the new strings 'on the fly' as soon as they arrive?

New translation strings will be added unplanned until just before the release. To increase the translation rate of translations included in the release, it is better to have a pull request 'on the fly' or a pull request just before the release.

3- Or is there a way to know when a new release is planned in order to translate the new strings before the release is built?

The release date can be found at the following URL
The build will take place on the day of the release or the day before.

Hello Takashi,

Thanks a lot for your answer especially regarding the milestones!

Just for your information, and because it could help another translator, I implemented the following bypass to replace the distribution list. I used Thunderbird to get RSS feeds for the following URLs:

https://github.com/WinMerge/winmerge/commits/master/Translations/WinMerge/English.pot.atom
https://github.com/WinMerge/winmerge/commits/master/Translations/ShellExtension/English.pot.atom
https://github.com/WinMerge/winmerge/commits/master/Translations/InnoSetup/English.isl.atom
https://github.com/WinMerge/winmerge/commits/master/Docs/Users/ReadMe.txt.atom
https://github.com/WinMerge/website/commits/master/po/en-US.pot.atom

Therefore, I should be notified as soon as there is an update to one of these files.

Best regards,
Patriccollu.
