training won't start

i write to start training:
python train.py --device 0 --batch 2 --data config.yaml --img 640 --cfg models/detect/gelan-c.yaml --weights 'weights/gelan-c.pt' --hyp hyp.scratch-high.yaml --epochs 5
and i wrote 5 epochs to just see how it's working
but it gets to epoch 0 and then nothing happens. it happened several times. why is this happening?
