Suggestions for improving the organization of preferences are scattered through various issues and pull requests. Pulling it together here so we can do a few iterations.

  • Introduce two new panels for "Appearance" and "Accessibility".
  • Reorganize settings to more relevant placements.
  • Improve copy for clarity, consistency, and remove some redundancy in text descriptions.
  • Incorporate "top toolbar" as a setting (currently missing from preferences).
