The Latest Posts block is designed to show just post but can pull back any CPT if category is specified and shared

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

1. Add a CPT with 'taxonomies' => array( 'category', 'post_tag' ),
2. add a post and CPT that shares a category
3. add Latest Posts block
4. selected the shared category
