V5.0 Release Note

New Capabilities in v5.0 Release:

1. Certified as a 2015 Edition Health IT module for CQM reporting: criteria 170.315 (c)(2,3,4); (d)(1-3, 5); (g)(4,5) (CHPL Certification ID: IG-3684-17-0010).

2. Filters patient data and Clinical Quality Measure results by patient demographics and provider information - implementation of (c)4 criterion. The filtering is implemented at the per measure level.

3. Exports QRDA Cat I patient data

4. Captures additional events, i.e., export patient data and cqm results, delete patients record, user role updates, etc. for enhanced audit log recording and reporting. Type of events to capture is configurable (look for 'log_to_database:' settings in the config/popHealth.yml file).

5. Allows providers and practices to compare their current quality measure progress against a configurable list of static baselines/goals - see instruction - Static Baseline Report Setup

6. Updates technology stack including Mongodb 3.0, Ruby 2.2.5, and Cypress components such as HDS and QME.

7. Loads the 2016 measure bundle by default. The 2016 measure bundle is used for the 2017 reporting of CQM.

Please notes that the popHealth now uses 'Multiple Practice mode" as the default mode of operation (the 'use_opml_structure:false' in config/popHealth.yml is the default setting)
