This mod adds fully functional Binoculars.
Starting with version 1.0.1 of this mod, Binoculars will appear naturally in the world.
There's a chance to find them in locked safes, but they are about as rare as the Expedition Parka. There's a guaranteed spawn in Trapper's Homestead and additional very likely spawns in Coastal Highway, Timberwolf Mountain, and Pleasant Valley.
If you already looted all those places in your Sandbox game, Binoculars may not be found naturally and will have to be added manually.
Using the DeveloperConsole Binoculars can be manually added to your inventory with the command add binoculars.
The item is fully integrated into the console and will appear in the auto-complete when pressing tab.
Once obtained, Binoculars need to be equipped like the Rifle or Bow.
While they're equipped you will see them infront of you.
To actually magnify your view, press the "Aim" Button (the default is Right Mouse Button, but this will respect your current key bindings). This acts like a toggle, so you don't need to hold the button the whole time.
To revert to normal view, press the "Aim" Button again.
While the Binoculars are used, character movement is prohibited.
