Software Installation

Before installing all components necessary for AstroPi, please install first Astroberry Server on your Raspberry Pi 4 using this procedure. Please note that Raspberry Pi 3 can also be used, but will suffer from slowdowns, especially when using high performance software (KStars, etc.) and when using the remote desktop.

Once installed and Internet available, please follow the following steps in order to ensure AstroPi Hat & Modules will be working properly :

# apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
# apt-get install git
# git clone https://github.com/X0x1RG9f/astropi.git
# cd ./astropi/
# sh ./install.sh
