Change Log

BeatPulse 3.0 Version

  • Functional changes

    1. Removed ASP.NET Core HttpContext dependency from all liveness and IBeatPulseLiveness contract.
    2. Added support on SqlLiveness,Sqlite, PostgreSql,Oracle to specify the sql query to be executed.
    3. Added log support for all out of box liveness.
    4. Default BeatPulseOptions (DetailedOutput, Timeout) can be override with request query string parameters.
    5. BeatPulseOptions.ConfigureDetailedOutput can configure includeExceptionMessages value to enable or disable exception messages information.
    6. BeatPulseOptions can configure Port property to specify a port filter for BeatPulse requests.
    7. Json result of liveness include Exception property, the content of this property depend on includeExceptionMessages opt-in.
    8. BeatPulseOptions can be configured from configuration settings.

  • Non Functional

    1. Improved naming on functional tests.
    2. Improve code quality.

  • Breaking Changes

    1. IBeatPulseLiveness contract.
    2. BeatPulse json response contract.

Network 2.1.1

1. Added IMAP connection liveness, supporting SSL/TLS and STARTTLS handshake.

- The imap liveness can try account logins and check mailbox
existance.

2. Added SMTP connection liveness, supporting SSL/TLS

- The smtp liveness cant try account logins.

No further dependencies were added to the package for added livenesses.

Network 2.1.0

The new package BeatPulse.Network was added, it includes the following livenesses:

1. Added Tcp connection liveness
2. Added Ftp connection liveness
3. Added Sftp connection liveness
4. Added Dns resolve liveness

System 2.2.2

1. Ping liveness was moved to new BeatPulse.Network package as it suites better there (breaking change)

1. Added private memory process liveness.
2. Added virtual memory process liveness.
3. Added working set process liveness.
